While the FM industry has grown rapidly over the last three decades, it now faces a skills shortage as a result of any change in immigration policy following Brexit and a lack of skilled applicants.
Ironically, at a time when FM offers more exciting and dynamic career possibilities, recruitment seems to be the biggest challenge facing organisations looking to fill FM roles. The changing face of FM is both its greatest asset and the root cause of a major skills shortage that all within the industry must work together to address.
