Join CIO's from all across Europe!
The CIO was first introduced to lead the Data Processing and Information Systems departments of the past. Today, the job is a much different role. The skill set and responsibilities are worlds apart from what they were a decade or two ago. And the role continues to adapt to the changing face of the modern business enterprise.
Discussing key topics such as the Cloud, Digital Transformation, Data & Analytics and the use of AI and IoT, CIO Event gives you the opportunity to meet leading decision makers under one roof at one time, to be part of the discussions that are shaping the future of security and to network and develop contacts that will strengthen your business.
The programme is driven by our senior level Advisory Board including representatives from TNT, Henley Business School, Fox Networks Group, US Department of Defense and Wyndham Group.
The CIO Event brings together leaders from across the public, large enterprises & mid-market sectors. The CIO event will provide you with a strategic and practical toolkit to help drive transformation including:

Networking with Industry Leaders
Traditional companies and hierarchies are optimized to be stable, to minimize risks and to generate profits with the established business model. The current challenges in the economy demand drastic changes with the help of new technologies - one of them is the digitalization of business models. How can this contradiction be resolved without destroying the economy?
At the level where the current problems have arisen, we cannot solve them. Anyone who wants to digitally change companies, products and services, has to take risks. Phrasing is a waste of time. You can't buy or force courage. Consequently, leadership in this context requires to go to a strategic level and to establish other structures and working methods for the development of solutions and to open the previous company boundaries for cooperation. Trust is the indispensable fuel for the development of new forms of work and the digital future. And as CIOs, we have to provide this energy. Otherwise, we will move into Orwell's abysses.
Opportunities (and challenges) of leveraging the digital ecosystem in your enterprise
Metrics and how to measure business impacts relevant to digital business stakeholders which help overcome uncertainty
Digital business models that reach customers effectively enabling new products & services, and many potential opportunities
Techniques to facilitate and support an increasingly digital future and reduce ambiguity
How to use agile methods ensure that as many as possible and possible solutions are discussed
Just a quick note to say thanks for a great event over the last two days. You and your colleagues did a great job. It was a pleasure to meet and work with you all. We’ll be doing the October event too.- Phil Holt - Sales and Alliances, ABinitio
Having been a salesperson for over 20 years I have been to many networking events over the years and I have to say, this has got to be one of the best! It was well managed from the outset but the calibre of attendees was far superior and the timings of all meetings were kept. I would definitely recommend this event to anyone who is serious about networking and lead generation. Looking forward to the next one!- Greta Read - Business Development, Pickfords
I thought the quality and mix of contributions and the engagement from the audience was excellent.
It felt more like an interactive team exercise in some respects, than a sit back and listen conference, and for me was more enjoyable and genuinely helpful for that. Similar folks, passionate about their brands and their work, but with different best practice to share – very collaborative, which I personally like.
So all good and thanks for the chance to take part. It’s always a drain on time, which none of us have, but it was worth it.
I just wanted to say congratulations on a great event and thank you all for your help, especially Ceri and Sarah who have spent time in advance and at the event with me to help me get the most out of the days here.I have really enjoyed the event, and made some good new contacts as well as insights into common challenges we are all facing in the CIO community. It’s been run superbly so thank you, and I look forward to the future events.- John Nother - Group CIO, Card Factory
