Join CPO's from all across Europe!
The business world is ever changing and becoming more complex year on year. As a result, the role of the CPO is forever changing and, in a way, has forced the CPO to put themselves in the shoes of the CEO and focus on key business drivers to stay ahead of the curve.
Discussing key topics such as Procurement transformation, the uses of IoT, Data Analytics in Supplier Management and how technology is shaping procurement, CPO Event gives you the opportunity to meet leading decision makers under one roof at one time, to be part of the discussions that are shaping the future of procurement and to network and develop contacts that will strengthen your business.
The programme is driven by our senior level Advisory Board including representatives from BBC, Engie, Ladbrokes Coral, Office of National Statistics and TUI.
The CPO Event brings together leaders from across the public, large enterprises & mid-market sectors. The Procurement event will provide you with a strategic and practical toolkit to help drive transformation including:
In 2018, research indicated that category managers are spending up to a quarter of their time on low-value, administrative tasks that aren’t contributing significant value for the organization. On top of this, buyers can be spending hours sourcing the long tail items in order to save cents, a poor return on investment when CPOs are increasingly pressured to free up resource time to focus on strategic projects.
Paul Harlington, Group Procurement Director at TUI and CPO Advisory Board member, and Molly Dobson, Head of Enterprise Customer Success, Amazon Business UK, will discuss opportunities to simplify procurement, empower the organization, and free up buyer resources through controlled self-service.
Paul will speak openly about the implementation of Amazon Business for self-service at TUI Group, including the benefits gained and lost, the lessons learned, and the opportunities for the future.
I just wanted to say congratulations on a great event and thank you all for your help, especially Ceri and Sarah who have spent time in advance and at the event with me to help me get the most out of the days here.I have really enjoyed the event, and made some good new contacts as well as insights into common challenges we are all facing in the CIO community. It’s been run superbly so thank you, and I look forward to the future events.- John Nother - Group CIO, Card Factory
This was our first experience with Global Business Events and first impressions are important. I was impressed by the level of seniority at the event. The venue worked well, the size of the event was good for networking and the 1−2−1 business
meetings were strong. Well done and I look forward to the next event’.
A very informative and insightful day. Would highly recommend this event to any progressive procurement professional/organisation- David Golding - Head of Procurement, JLL
I thought the quality and mix of contributions and the engagement from the audience was excellent.
It felt more like an interactive team exercise in some respects, than a sit back and listen conference, and for me was more enjoyable and genuinely helpful for that. Similar folks, passionate about their brands and their work, but with different best practice to share – very collaborative, which I personally like.
So all good and thanks for the chance to take part. It’s always a drain on time, which none of us have, but it was worth it.
